We wanted to build a tire carrier that would open with the tailgate in one smooth motion without placing unwanted stress on the hinges. With the Integrated Pivot Tire Carrier™, we achieved just that. The IPTC™ features a fully adjustable integrated mounting system that attaches the tire carrier directly to the tailgate while accommodating tire sizes from up to 42”. The Rigid Rear Bumper is built out of 3/16” alloy steel and has 1/4” mounting plates. It features 2 recovery shackle points anchored directly to the frame, and a 2” recessed receiver hitch with 1/4” steel safety chain loops. The combination of oversized bearings at the pivot point, and 3/16” steel ensures all of the strength you need.
